2007 BAGS Florida 72 Hole Championship November 29 - December 3, 2007 O Our Florida event is a terrific getaway just before winter sets in. Contested on four, superb championship courses. The hotel is conveniently located close to all the tournament sites, Disney World and other area attractions. 8:00 AM shotgun starts each morning will allow sufficient time for afternoon replays at reduced rates. Last year over 56 golfers enjoyed great weather (daily highs well into the 70’s) Thursday, Nov. 29 - For those who arrive in Orlando by noon (see flight information below), we will organize rental cars and head out for an afternoon practice round, and then to the hotel for check-in. Friday, Nov. 30 - Southern Dunes G & CC (www.southerndunes.com) – Always a B.A.G.S. favorite, this Steve Smyers designed layout is a distinctive course that features a dramatic hillside layout, rolling terrain, steep elevation changes and large, fast, undulating greens, presenting golfers with a challenge unique to Central Florida. The course is always in great condition, and is a very fair yet challenging test. Saturday, Dec. 1 - Ridgewood Lakes G & CC (www.ridgewoodlakesgolf.com) This 5 star, upscale, semi-private club is Florida golf at its best. Ridgewood Lakes was designed by Ted McAnlis and voted in 1994 as "Best New Course" by Golf Digest and also voted among the "Top 30 Courses in Florida" by The Florida Golfer in 1999-2003. This course was redesigned in 2004 following the three hurricanes, Charley, Francis and Jeanne, and became even better. A truly great and fun test of golf. Sunday, Dec. 2 -
Metro West GC (www.metrowestgolf.com)

native trees bordering expansive, rolling fairways leading to large, undulating
greens strategically surrounded by sculpted bunkers. It is considered by Links
Magazine to be "the Southeast's finest example of the Master's work." With
meticulously maintained fairways and immaculate greens, this masterpiece
provides tournament playing condition and is a must-play. Florida Golf Magazine
"Top East Central Florida Public Golf Course" - 2006 ******. Champions Tour
Qualifying Site - 1997-2003, 2005-2006. Monday, Dec. 3- Eagle Creek GC (www.eaglecreekgolf.info) – Eagle Creek Golf Club features the design of well-known golf course architects Ron Garl and Howard Swan. The winning result of this unique collaboration is a decidedly European-inspired design with all the amenities you'd expect in a top-notch American course and more. Eagle Creek is the first course in Florida to use the technologically-advanced Mini-Verde grass, resulting in exceptionally fast and vibrant greens. Eagle Creek is a designated Audubon Silver Signature Course with lush landscaping and challenging play that features over 90 white sand bunkers reminiscent of those found in Scotland and England, with extensive bulkheads embracing water hazards and over 1,500 trees lining its breathtaking fairways.
